smart Fortwo

First introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1998, the iconic smart fortwo green car has been a hit for Daimler. Currently this green smart car holds the top four positions in diesel format on the Top Green Cars UK. This is quite a feat considering that in this diesel format the fortwo is still just a standard ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicle and does not use hybrid technology.

For most people the fortwo isn't the most practical green car but if you commute daily with only one or two people and want to lower your impact on the environment then this vehicle is definately a step in the right direction.
