I recently read a book by Richard Branson who owns Virgin Galatic and Virgin Airlines and his advisors are telling him that 2015 is when oil is going to become very expensive. Most aircraft cannot run on electric energy whereas cars are perfectly suited to use electric power direct from your home socket produced from clean, green renewable solar, wave and wind energy. The main thing to remember is if you make sure every time you purchase a car, old or new, ensure it is more efficient than your last car, when car makers see that consumers are demanding more fuel efficient vehicles then they will have no choice but to produce clean green cars.
