Toyota Camry hybrid

Toyota Camry hybrid The Toyota Camry hybrid was first released in 2006/07 in the US and is now Australia's first locally produced hybrid car. Based on the 7th generation Camry this is the third hybrid Toyota has released in the US after the popular Prius and Highlander SUV.

Fuel - Combined Gasoline and Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries

The Camry hybrid is aimed at buyers of larger cars and definately is a step in the right direction for green motoring.

Toyota have annouced recently their plans to add 10 more hybrid models to their green car lineup and hope to sell 1 million hybrid cars globally soon after 2010.
