Micro Vette Fiat e500 electric car
The Micro Vette Fiat e500 is an electric version of the very popular Italian classic Fiat 500 which has been around for over 50 years.Fiat have partnered with the NICE Car Company which makes electric vehicles to produce the Micro Vette e500, 1st released at the 2008 British Motor Show, it has a top speed of 60 mph. Fast facts: Power output - 22kW Driving range - 70 miles (113 kms) Fuel - Electric Lithium polymer - Kokam batteries Seating - 4 persons This beautiful little electric car is perfect for running about in the city, and in London doesn't incurr the congestion tax. Electric powered cars don't produce any emissions from the vehicle itself and if you're using green electricity then they are totally carbon neutral except for producing the car itself. Batteries are becoming cheaper year by year as more and more electric cars hit the streets, the e500 currently costs approx. GBP 25,000 and is produced in limited numbers.
The electric Micro Vette Fiat is eligible for parking concessions in many boroughs and with an increasing number of electric car recharging points it is becoming easier to own an electric car.
